 iends\,\n\nNCIL’s 2019 Annual Conference theme is IGNITE.\n\nThe Indepen
 dent Living Movement ignites action and empowerment. When there is work to
  be done\, we do it. When bad policy threatens our independence and rights
 \, we fight back. When we know we have a better way\, we take action to in
 fluence policy and pass laws. We are organized\, we are powerful\, and we 
 know what we want.\n\nWe must share resources\, strategize\, and train new
  advocates if we want to succeed in our efforts to protect our programs an
 d secure the independence of people with disabilities.\n\nNCIL’s Annual 
 Conference is the largest Independent Living event of the year. NCIL regul
 arly hosts over 1\,000 people\, including grassroots advocates\, CIL and S
 ILC leadership\, members of Congress\, government officials\, and represen
 tatives from other major organizations that work for justice and equity fo
 r people with disabilities.\n\nPlease join us in Washington this July to s
 how our power\, take to the streets\, and share our message. Together\, ou
